This is the essential piece of kit for all Magickal Candle users.  As a general rule, all candles should be snuffed, rather than the flame blown out, but this is especially important for Magickal candles.  Magickal candles must always be snuffed out, or the “wish/charge/intent” will be blown away with the flame.
